Obituary:
Christensen – Peter H., was born at Gyrstenge, Ringsted, Denmark, on Feb. 17, 1857, and fell asleep on Feb. 26, 1928, at his home on 3rd Ave., at Huron, South Dakota. He was united in marriage to Mary Olson, in 1880, at Gyrstenge. They left Copenhagen in 1881 for this country, and settled near Morgan, Minn., where they spent 23 years. They were members of the Brookville church. Later they came to La Delle, Iowa and in 1908 to Huron, S. D. Brother Christensen accepted the faith the year after he came to this country, under the labors of Elder Neilson, and was baptized July 4, 1882 and was faithful to the message until the time of his death, which occured after a short illness. The funeral services were conducted by the writer, assisted by Elder Hilliard, and our brother was laid to rest until Jesus comes.

The bereft are: his widow, and ten children: Mrs. William [Emma K.] Engelrup, Hutchinson, Minn.; C. R. [Charles Robert] Christensen, Grand Forks, N. D.; H. [Henry] J. Christensen, Westaco, Texas; Mrs. G. H. [Nellie] Kimball and Mrs. H. E. [Trina Oliva] Johnson of Sioux City, Ia.; Mrs. William [Lilly] Larson, Regina, Canada; Mrs. C. E. [Rina Ella] Deach, Oelrichs, S. D.; Mrs. E. M. [Rose Marene] Nelson, Chicago, and Mrs. A. J. [Anna Marie] Maag, and Miss Frances Christensen of Huron.

I. V. Minner, Northern Union Reaper, May 15, 1928, 6-7
