Date of Birth:
Date of Death: February 16, 1959

Benjamin F. Ives was born February 15, 1884, at Farmington, Minnesota, and quietly passed to his rest on February 16, 1959, at his home at Sauk Centre. He spent his early years in Farmington. On February 14, 1917, he was united in marriage with Mary Glaser of Minneapolis. In 1921 they moved to Sauk Centre and established a plumbing, heating, and sheet metal business, both of them working together through the years. Through the influence of his faithful companion he gave his heart to the Lord and was baptized by Elder Haysmer in 1926. The soon return of Jesus was his constant hope.

He was a loving husband and father and leaves to mourn their loss: his wife, two children, Mrs. William Parke of Saginaw, Michigan, and Edward J. Guishard of La Porte, Minnesota; two brothers, Ira and Levi of Farmington; three sisters, Frances and Rose of Seattle, Washington, and Minnie of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Services were conducted by E. F. Finck assisted by E. R. Colson and Don Burgeson. Brother Ives was laid to rest in the Sauk Centre cemetery to await the call of the Life-giver.
