Gatherings

From the beginning, Minnesota Seventh-day Adventists have valued assembling with those of their faith. In researching, I browsed through letters of one of the first Minnesota Adventist women – a lady who shared in the Review and Herald her deep longing to have some Adventists with whom she could meet. She longed for the spiritual support of fellow believers and wondered if she could “keep the faith” without it. In time, her family and others did join her and eventually she was part of a bustling little church – it warmed my heart to see her dream of fellowship come true. Such gatherings are taken for granted today but, if we reflect, we certainly will recall many fond memories of experiences such as “dorcas”, camp meetings, junior camps, Pathfinders, and more. We hope you enjoy remembering these gatherings of years gone by!
