Amundson – George Martin Amundson was born at Brooten, Minn., Sept. 30, 1896; and was accidentally killed while felling timber near White Salmon, Wash., July 20, 1927. He was a faithful member of the church at Hood River, Oreg. He leaves a wife and two children to mourn.

Amundson – George Martin Amundson, was born in Broaten [Brooten], Minn., Sept. 30, 1868 [1896], and was accidently [sic] killed falling timber north of White Salmon, Washington, July 20, 1927. Brother Amundson was a graduate from Hutchinson Seminary in 1919. He was united in marriage to Lora Alice Herman, at Alexandria, Minn., June 18, 1919. They came to Oregon in 1922. He was baptized in 1915 while attending Maplewood Academy, and has been a most faithful Christian. At the time of his death he was a member of the Hood River church. Besides his wife he leaves to mourn two little boys, and many other relatives and friends. He was laid to rest at Hood River, Oregon. Services were conducted by the writer assisted by Elder Conway.
